The map book was probably the largest book that I have undertaken so far, it measured approximately 26″ x 17″ . The brief was to restore it so that it could be used once again , instead of being left on the shelf. A burgundy bookcloth and black goatskin leather were chosen for the covers, a marble paper pattern was used inside.
